Welcome to our website!
Knights United Chess Club was formed in November 2007. We are primarily a junior club but seniors are welcome providing they are prepared to encourage and help the juniors. Our juniors come from all over Lancashire and are coached by three Lancashire junior coaches, including the Chief Junior Coach. As well as coaching the juniors, all players are encouraged to play competitively in various competitions. To further help the players we have teams in senior leagues next season, specifically the East Lancashire League, and the Central Lancashire League.
We will be including games, analysed and annotated, from all members of the club which we hope the visitor will find instructional.
Club nights are every Wednesday evening from 6:45 pm at Old Blackburnians Football Club, Lammack Road, Blackburn, BB1 8LA.
